Brand design agency BrandOpus has redesigned the UK-based New Covent Garden Soup’s packaging by focusing on the soup company’s message of ‘Fresh from our kitchen to yours’.

Assigned to work in May 2012, BrandOpus packaging reflects the New Covent Garden method: hand selected seasonal vegetables sourced from markets and cooked each day by soup chefs in its kitchens.

The company had chosen a branded market vegetable crate device to inspire the idea of the fresh soup handmade from quality market produce of New Covent Garden Soup, said BrandOpus.

According to the UK-based company, the crate device has given flexibility to the pack design to deliver clear navigation through the use of color and ingredient illustration.

BrandOpus creative director Paul Taylor said though the project came with tight schedules, the freedom it was given by the client to revamp the brand helped it to achieve a redesign which it believes will change the consumers perspective of New Covent Garden Soup.

The new packaging has been made available from 10 September in Asda, Waitrose and Morrisons stores.
